Lesson 1b - Special Revelation by Sproul

Special revelation refers to God revealing himself through direct speech and action in history. Special revelation includes God speaking to prophets, divine acts in history, the incarnation in Christ, and the Bible itself. Unlike general revelation which is accessible to all people, special revelation is God specifically disclosing himself and his plan of salvation to particular people. Through special revelation in Scripture, God makes known the redemptive work of Christ that is required for salvation.
